Proper etiquette for sending a condolences card to husband's ex and adult step-children? - condolence thank you wording

My ex-husband, wife and mother of three grown children, grandmother died of cancer. I pay my homework and send them (ex-wife and children) from a sympathy card. I want to say the right words to learn. You do not want the text is too short nor too long. What is enough?
Please look for serious answers. Thank you.

Just because you say anything, speak volumes. I'd be brief and simple. Get some fixes Nice.

I would even say that satisfy a "simple condoloences My sincere the loss of his mother and his grandmother" would be.

If you have a good relationship with her ex-husband have, then you can make it personal, if not sympathy is very good.

Pay associated with them is not really different than anyone else. Tell them what you say, a friend or relative who lost his mother / grandmother.

"You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult period of his life." Or something like that.
